Here’s something odd that bugs me when I look at it too hard.
4 bolt, 5 spoke wheels. It always B others me the way that the bolts don’t line up with the spokes e venly.
Some wheels, like the ones on my Rabbit remedy this by covering the bolts. I’m okay with this.
But this just looks much better.

It bothers me that the valve stem doesn’t line up with a lug nut. I shouldn’t go look at the wheels on my cars because valve stem location is going to bug the hell out of me.

nah, at least there’s symmetry. The second 5-spoke 4-lug in the original post has the same thing going for it....

Same problem. Radial symmetry is a big one for me. I rejected a lot of nice looking 6 spoke wheels when I had a 5 lug car.
6 spokes can work with a 4 lug, though I still don’t consider it ideal from a symmetry standpoint.
